The Magazine Library is a curated travelling exhibition celebrating an expansive array of magazines, art books, and printed materials from across the globe.  Its inaugural gathering took place in March 2009, conceived by art directors Yasushi Fujimoto (CAP) and David Guarino (a Zillion Ideas) as a commemorative occasion marking the third anniversary of Omotesando Hills. This pioneering exhibition, the first of its scale in Asia, showcased over 1,000 publications from more than 50 countries.

Following several exhibitions in Tokyo, the event expanded its reach to cities such as Nagoya, Los Angeles, and Berlin. Now, the Magazine Library finds a new home at Under the Palmo on Morito Beach in Hayama, where it will feature an eclectic selection of literary works, exhibition catalogues, records, and more.

Magazine Library is an event that introduces a wide variety of carefully selected magazines, art books, and other publications and printed materials from around the world.

The first event was planned in March 2009 by art directors Yasushi Fujimoto (CAP) and David Guarino (a Zillion ideas) as a commemorative event for the third anniversary of Omotesando Hills, and it was the first large-scale exhibition in Asia to bring together over 1,000 printed materials from over 50 countries around the world.

After several exhibitions in Tokyo, it was also held in Nagoya, Los Angeles, and Berlin.

This time, the Magazine Library, which will be held at Under the Palmo on Morito Beach in Hayama, will introduce a wide variety of literary books, exhibition catalogues, records, and more.
